In diesem Artikel wird gezeigt wie man ganz einfach Flash unter Ubuntu 10.04 x64 installiert. Der herkömmliche Weg über die Herstellerseite ist leider nicht der einfachste Weg. Einen leichteren Weg finden Ihr in diesem Artikel.

1. Alle alten / fehlerhaften Flash Komponenten löschen

sudo apt-get purge flashplugin-nonfree flashplugin-installer

2. PPA Repository

Wenn man in seiner Sourcelist das PPA Repository nicht hast, fügt man es folgendermaßen hinzu:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sevenmachines/flash

Ausgabe:

3. Aktualisieren der Repository

sudo apt-get update

Bei erfolgreichem Hinzufügen der PPA Repository sollte unte folgende Meldung erscheinen:

4. Installation des Flashplayers

sudo apt-get install flashplugin64-installer

Ausgabe:
